In our daily lives, many snacks and candies are packaged and produced by pillow-type packaging machines. The packaging style of fully automatic pillow-type packaging machines is aesthetically pleasing and meets national safety and hygiene standards. Fully automatic pillow-type packaging machines occupy a significant market share in the packaging machinery industry, and the advancement in the food market has brought broader development opportunities for packaging machines. However, many customers have limited knowledge about pillow-type packaging machines, especially regarding their maintenance and upkeep, which is just the tip of the iceberg. Comprehensive maintenance of a pillow-type packaging machine involves three steps: mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, and lubrication of mechanical parts.
1. Check Wiring Connections: Operators should frequently check if the wiring connections at various joints are loose before starting the pillow-type packaging machine.
2. Clean Sensors and Switches: Tiny particles like dust can affect the functionality of the packaging machine. Dust on photoelectric switches and proximity switch probes can lead to false actions, so regular inspection and cleaning are necessary.
3. Focus on Details: Detail-oriented cleaning is crucial, such as regularly using soft cloth dipped in alcohol to clean the surface of the transverse sealing slip ring, removing carbon deposits.
4. Avoid Unauthorized Changes: Certain parts of the pillow-type packaging machine should not be altered casually. Non-professionals should not tamper with the electrical components as the parameters or programs of inverters, microcomputers, and other control elements are preset. Unauthorized changes can disrupt the system and lead to malfunctioning of the machine.
1. Bearings Lubrication: Rolling bearings are prone to wear and tear, so they should be lubricated with grease every two months or as needed.
2. Different Lubricants for Different Parts: Use appropriate lubricants for different parts. For example, the shaft sleeves on packaging film rollers and the shaft sleeves at the front sprocket of the feeding conveyor should be lubricated with 40# mechanical oil as needed.
3. Gear Lubrication: Proper gear engagement is crucial. Apply 40# mechanical oil to gears as needed.
4. Chain Lubrication: Lubricate chains and sprockets with a lubricant having a viscosity greater than 40# as needed.
5. Clutch Lubrication: Lubricate clutch components with grease as needed since the clutch is critical for starting the packaging machine.
By following these maintenance practices diligently, you can ensure the optimal performance and longevity of your high-quality pillow-type packaging machine.
